California-born rapper Kendrick Lamar Duckworth known professionally as Kendrick Lamar just released a new soundtrack tagged “Crown”, the song is the 11th track on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album tagged, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”.
In “Crown”, Kendrick Lamar gives us insight into his psyche, portraying an image of a normal, satisfactory life, with a deeply conflicted inside. While rapping about his contrasting feelings, Kendrick also speaks about love and makes references to William Shakespeare’s “Henry IV” throughout the song’s melodic refrain.
The song was produced by Duval Timothy, written by Sam Dew, Duval Timothy & Kendrick Lamar and released on May 13, 2022
