California-born rapper Kendrick Lamar Duckworth known professionally as Kendrick Lamar just released a new soundtrack tagged “We Cry Together” with American actress and dancer Taylour Paige, the song is the 8th track on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album tagged, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”.
On “We Cry Together,” Kendrick and Taylour Paige take opposite sides in an ugly couple’s dispute that sees them hurling insults at one another for nearly six minutes. The song opens with a vocal sample from Florence and the Machine’s 2018 song, “June,” before transitioning into a stripped-down piano and drum beat courtesy of The Alchemist.
