Overthinking”, is a song by Singer Mabel featuring rapper 24kGoldn. The song is from Mabel’s upcoming sophomore album titled “About Last Night”.
According to Mabel, “Overthinking” deals with “is about how quickly things can turn from thrilling to toxic.” “Many people suffering from mental health disorders self-medicate and I too went through a time when I turned to drugs to numb my feelings,” she elaborated in a press release. “I hope that anyone that may resonate with this song knows that after the darkness comes the light.”
Overthinking was teased on TikTok and Twitter prior it’s release. On May 12, 2022, Mabel announced that it would be the third single from her upcoming album, on May 18, 2022, she shared a handwritten journal entry about the song on social media.
The record was released on May 20, 2022.It was produced by StarGate, and written by StarGate, Jozzy & Mabel.
