Trinidadian-born rapper, singer Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, known professionally as Nicki Minaj, and American rapper Maxie Lee Ryles III, known by his stage name Fivio Foreign feature in the newly released diss-track “We Go Up.”
“We Go Up” features Nicki showcasing her drill skills talking about female rappers that imitate het , but still can’t measure up. On his verse, Foreign proclaims himself as the king of New York, alongside.
Almost a week before the song’s release, Nicki posted a snippet of the song multiple versions, including an official instrumental and an extended edit, to her social media on March 19, where she also revealed the song’s title. So It’s likely the song isn’t going to be included on Nicki’s upcoming album due to the caption and the lack of promotion previous to it’s release on March 25, 2022. She released the song to celebrate pink Friday with her fans.
