American rapper and singer Austin Richard Post, better known by his stage name Post Malone just released his long awaited fourth studio album tagged “Twelve Carat Toothache.” Post Malone, marks the follow-up of his 2019 album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding”.
Malone opened up to Zane Lowe about the new album earlier in the month, explaining that he kept his mind on absolute honesty while recording it. “That’s what the whole record is about. It’s the bipolar aspect and the duality of everything,” he told Lowe. “And so, there’s a lot of things very much on this record that are tongue in cheek. And I think this whole record is the most honest record I’ve made, and I’m so pumped for people to hear it. But every song in there tells a story, so this is kind of like, “Here’s the life that we live, but there’s always something going on in the background.”
On April 27, 2022, he announced the album’s release date of June 3, 2022. Two weeks later, Post Malone announced the album’s second lead single with Roddy Ricch, “Cooped Up”, released on May 12, alongside the album’s official cover art.
The album consists of 14 tracks and also featured some top artists including, Doja Cat, Fleet Foxes, Gunna, The Kid LAROI & Roddy Ricch
