After a lengthy discography, Quavo and Takeoff’s debut joint album, “Only Built For Infinity Links,” was released on October 7, 2022.
The album’s title is an homage to Raekwon’s legendary 1995 album “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx,” which also features a Ghostface Killah allusion on the cover designed by Quavo.
Quavo and Takeoff hinted about an impending “Unc & Phew” album that has been in the works ever since the release of the most recent Migos album, Culture III, in an interview with RapRadar on August 18, 2022. “It’s an album that’s always been in our mind that we wanted to do […] You’re about to get this real-deal, raw, uncut, 2024, 2026 [sound]. [We’re going] back to the essence, back to the origin, back to the real screams and shouts. You know, how I came in on Us Vs. Them. It’s about blood, it’s about us coming together, and bringing it back home to the family.”
The album consists of 12 tracklist as well as the extra artists, who were Birdman, Gucci Mane, Mustard, Summer Walker, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Young Thug & Gunna.
