“2AM” is by American singer SZA, and the 16th single in her studio album “Ctrl(Deluxe)”. In the song, SZA sings “Come and See Me,” a song by PARTYNEXTDOOR featuring Drake, from the perspective of a woman.
PND and Drake were looking for 2 a.m. booty calls in the original song, but the women they were seeing were looking for a romantic relationship. SZA is aware that she is just seen as a side chick, but she is too enamored to go.
At the conclusion, a fragment of SZA’s unreleased tune “Inside Man” is added.
