Canadian singer and record producer Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, known professionally as The Weeknd release a soundtrack titled “Out of time”
The track features a distressed Abel, as he realizes the mistakes he made in his relationship and croons for a second chance on the sleek, sensual sounding cut.
“Out of Time” was released to Republic Records on January 7, 2022, as the third single from his fifth studio album “Dawn FM”. The song was produced by Max Martin, Oscar Holter, The Weeknd & Oneohtrix Point Never. The song was written by Tomoko Aran and Tetsurō Oda, receiving credits for the sampling of Aran’s 1983 song “Midnight Pretenders”. After teasing the music video on Twitter, the video was released on April 6, 2022, featuring actors Jim Carrey and Hoyeon.
