The Mexican band popularly known as Yahritza y Su Esencia which comprise of Yahritza, Jairo, and Mando release a sentimental soundtrack titled “Soy El Unico”
The song features about heartbreak and missing someone that means a lot. “Soy El Unico,” is the first song Yahritza penned at the age of 13, inspired by a real-life situation her brother Mando went through. Beyond its lyrics, is the voice narrating this heartbreak, coming from a quinceañera who often wears baseball hats and oversized hoodies.
The record made Billboard history this week, after the release on March 25, 2022 produced by Lumbre Music. It debuted at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs, and hit No. 20 on the Hot 100 chart, making the 15-year-old rising artist the youngest Latin performer to enter the all-genre tally. Note, the song was already a hit before it’s release because of the relatable and personal lines.
